    ℹ️ Recipe Overview

There's something truly special about honey butter corn! It takes the humble corn to a whole new level by infusing it with a luscious combination of honey and butter.

The result is a dish that boasts a delightful balance of sweetness and richness, with a hint of caramelization from the skillet.

This is a versatile recipe that can be made with frozen or fresh corn, and that pairs well with a wide range of main courses. It can be enjoyed year-round, whether it's a summer barbecue or a cozy winter gathering.

It’s best cooked in a skillet or a deep frying pan and you can just how easy it is in our step-by-step instructions below.

    🌽 Ingredients

Corn: We used frozen corn for convenience and as it’s available all year round. You can use fresh corn when in season, simply slice off the corn kernels off the cobs and measure out about 3 cups of tightly packed kernels. The cooking times will be about the same. You could use canned corn as well, however the cooking time for step 2 only needs to be 1-2 minutes as the corn doesn’t need to be cooked or thawed out.

Other: butter, honey, salt and pepper

    💡 Variations & Additions

You can spice up the corn by adding a pinch of cayenne pepper or chili flakes or a squeeze of lime juice for a tangy twist. Freshly chopped chives or scallions are a delicious addition and you want to make it more decadent, sprinkle crispy bacon bits over the top.

🍽 What To Serve It With?

Similarly to creamed corn, this dish is fantastic with grilled chicken, steak, ribs, or any other barbecued meat. It’s great with roast chicken and baked potatoes and would be a welcomed side dish on a Thanksgiving and Christmas table.
