- 28 Oreos 2 packets (about 11-12 oz / 315-320 grams)
- ¼ cup butter unsalted melted
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup peanut butter creamy
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
Toppings (optional)
- peanuts crushed
- chocolate melted
- peanut butter cups
- caramel sauce or chocolate sauce
- oreos crushed
Pulse the Oreos in a food processor for a couple of minutes until you get fine crumbs. Add the Oreo crumbs to a mixing bowl. Add the butter and mix until combined.
Press down the Oreo crust into a 9-inch pie dish. Place the pie dish in the refrigerator for the Oreo crust to set.
In the meantime prepare the peanut butter filling. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the sugar and peanut butter until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream for 5-10 minutes, or until stiff peaks form.
With a spatula slowly incorporate the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture.
Pour the peanut butter filling into the chilled Oreo crust, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight. This allows the pie to be set properly.
Once the pie has chilled and is set, you can slice it with a sharp knife and serve with any of the optional toppings.
